Vettore. A tour in an enchanting land characterized by myths and legends linked to Sibilla, mixed to millenary traditions.
A 6 day walking route among the most fascinating und multicoloured stopping places of Mountains Sibillini. Starting from Cupi, with its open grasslands populated by Rock Partridges, we will arrive to Fiastra Lake, an enormous and wonderful mirror, in which the sky and the Sibillini mountain chain reflect. The second stopping place will be Prati di Ragnolo with its charming highlands and 360° view, crossing the beechwood to arrive to Garulla. The third day we will cross the Ambro Valley to enjoy the view of one of the most beautiful gullies of Marche, the “Gola dell’Infernaccio”. The fourth and fifth day, we will move close to Mt. Vettore, by passing through “Colle di Montegallo” and “Forca di Presta” passage. From here, we can see the famous “Piani di Castelluccio” that during spring are painted by thousand colours thanks to the spontaneous flowers growing among the precious cultivated legumes.
Great end on the top of Mt.Vettore! It is the highest top of Le Marche. The efforts will undoubtedly be repayed to reach this eccellent location, from which it is possible to admire wide views, which extend from the Adriatic Sea to Abruzzo and Gran Sasso range.
