1st Day: SAND DUNES AND TORRE DEL CERRANO

Stop during the tour into the small and very precious Natural Reserve Torre del Cerrano. This marine reserve is characterized by one of the old towers  lying in the coasts of the Reign of Naples, which functioned as to push back the continuous attacks by Turkish and Saracens coming from the Sea. We are expecting a peaceful walking in the pinewood and a refreshing bath at the sea in one of fewest areas of the Adriatic coast that does still conserve sand dunes

2nd Day: VALLONE DI SANTO SPIRITO: HERMITAGES OF CELESTINO V AND CARAMANICO TERME

We are moving about in the Paths of the Spirit of the National Park of Majella, in the direction of the Hermitage of San Bartolomeo in Legio. This is surely one of the most picturesque religious places of the whole park: it is just difficult to perceive where the cave finishes and the hermitage begins. To follow, we’ll reach along the Path of the Spirit inside the beech forest, the wonderful Hermitage of Santo Spirito in Majella. To conclude, there’ll be a visit to the beautiful village of Caramanico Terme, by having an Abruzzi famous mutton-based picnic.

3rd Day: THE CHARMING ROCCA CALASCIO AND SANTO STEFANO DI SESSANIO

Transfer to the old Sextantio, the delicious Santo Stefano di Sessanio, a little village saved by the decay and the depopulation caused by the end of transhumance of sheep. Excursion guided through postcard-like views, which overlook Piana di Campo Imperatore until the mythical ruins of Rocca Calascio and the Church of Santa Maria della Pietà. To conclude the afternoon, tasting of two local typical courses, lentils of Santo Stefano di Sessanio and canestrato cheese of Castel del Monte

4th Day: THE OLD SHEEP WAY, THE CAVES OF STIFFE AND THE "SISTINA CHAPEL”

From the smart village of Fontecchio we are reaching on foot the village of Bominaco, a small and unknown Middle Age jewel that conserves wonderful religious buildings with frescos of the XIII century; then, we’ll climb up to visit the picturesque remains of the castle and the Hermitage of San Michele. In the afternoon, we are visiting the pleasant waterfalls and the less known rooms of Carso, that is, the Caves of Stiffe.

5th Day: CIVITELLA ALFEDENA AND VAL DI ROSE IN THE REIGN OF CHAMOIS

The excursion at ring shape of Val di Rose is one of the most beautiful excursions that can be done along the tracks of Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park. We’ll really get in touch with a wide range of landscapes starting by the secular beech grove to get to lands, crests and a wood made up of several species. We’ll have surely the possibility of catching side of the rare chamois living in the Appennini mountain chain, that find here its own habitat. To conclude, we’ll have a walking around the graceful village of Civitella Alfedena.

6th Day: SULMONA, CAPITAL OF COMFIT AND HERMITAGE OF SANT’ONOFRIO AL MORRONE

We are expecting a guided visit to the centre of Sulmona that spreads from the road Ovidio, in which splendid buildings, the Middle Age Aqueduct and many other curious things give their exhibition. To follow, we’ll have also a stop at the Hermitage of Sant’Onofrio al Marrone that dates back to the XIII century.

7th Day: PUNTA ADERCI AND COSTA DEI TRABOCCHI

Excursion to the splendid Punta Penna in the very precious Natural Reserve of Punta Aderci, which preserves as unpolluted a track of Costa dei Trabocchi; inside it, the vegetation of the Mediterranean Sea, wide sandy beaches, old spills and rock tips mix together, where green fields get into the blue sea. Once the excursion is carried out, we are expected the visit to the Roman Abbey of San Giovanni in Venere and its unbelievable view over Golfo di Venere that makes it one of the most visited places of Abruzzo. To finish, there’s a fish-based dinner in a fabulous reastaurant over the sea.

8th Day: STONE SCULPTURES: ATRI'S GULLIES, LIQUORICE AND PAN DUCALE

The exploration of Abruzzo will finish from the old town of Atri. Our excursion is heading for the Natural Reserve Atri's Gullies with its unusual rock sculptures shaped by weather conditions thousands of years ago; so, we’ll continue the guided visit to the subterranean Atri, an intriguing labyrinth made up of cisterns and caves of Roman epoch. About latest greetings, there’ll be the final sweet accompanied by the very known Pan Ducale and the tasteful liquorice of Atri.
